To round out the offerings is a group of designer handbags and luggage, including: a rare Louis Vuitton leather-covered top hat trunk, with original interior fittings; and purses by Judith Leiber and Paloma Picasso.
These lots will be offered on day two of an exciting four-day auction at Thomaston Place Auction Galleries, from November 8 through November 11. On Thursday, November 8, important artifacts from early Native American and Oceanic civilizations will be sold, including pieces from Pre-Columbian, Taino, Mound Builders, and Polynesian peoples.
