THOMASTON — Due to the success of the two supper meals provided in May, Williams-Brazier, American Legion Post 37 will hold a drive up/walk up baked bean supper again on June 20. This IS NOT a sit down supper and all coronavirus state guidelines will be followed.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. at the 37 Watts Lane location.
Beginning this month additional meals will be prepared to meet the overwhelming demand of the first two ‘to go’ suppers, according to Post 37, in a news release.
Two additional suppers will be provided in July, on the 4th and 18th, while three will be provided in August, on the 1st, 15th and 29th. More details will be provided at a later date.
Each meal will be packed in “to go” boxes and placed into a bag for carry out. Patrons can drive/walk to the front of the Legion Hall, order a meal(s) and pay for it. A Legion member will retrieve the order and bring it back to the patron. The meal will be just like the usual baked bean supper, except for the dessert.
