ROCKLAND — The Rockland Public Library is hosting a weekly writing workshop for teens, led by writer Yvonne Blake.
The series of five workshops will be held Tuesdays, from 2 to 3 p.m., beginning July 2.
To make flavorful stories, a writer needs to learn how to self-edit, according to the Library, in a news release. They need to let their writing simmer – condensing it, so that each word adds its own zest.
At this workshop, participants will learn to sprinkle their writing with precise vocabulary, strain out unnecessary words, and create delicious sentences, according to the release.
Sign up is encouraged; call 207-594-0310.
