MIDCOAST — On Saturday, July 23, throughout the day, Teens to Trails is offering guided outdoor activities in the Midcoast. These excursions are designed for people to get to know the organization while also allowing adventurers to experience firsthand what middle and high school outdoor clubs might enjoy during the school year.
People can choose from hiking Ragged Mountain or the Rhealt Trail in Camden, sea kayaking in Penobscot Bay, mountain biking at the Camden Snow Bowl, a 25-mile cycle tour or packrafting on Lake Megunticook. All excursions take place in the afternoon, and donations to Teens to Trails are welcome. Donations can be made via Venmo @TeenstoTrails or online at teenstotrails.org/donate.
That evening, Teens to Trails is hosting a sold-out Party in the Hills at a private farm in Lincolnville; it will be a festive outdoor event with a serious goal of raising $45,000 to support Teens to Trails’ vision that all Maine teenagers have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together.
