CAMDEN — Plan to plunge with SunDog, Saturday, Feb. 2, at 11 a.m., at the Winterfest Polar Plunge 2019. Into the ocean! In Camden Harbor.
The Polar Plunge is always a very fun and slightly wild and crazy community event, and this year SunDog Outdoor Expeditions is organizing the Plunge.
“If you or your family has done the Polar Plunge in the past, come on back and plunge again,” said SunDog, in a news release. “If you’ve never plunged, challenge yourself to try something new! Plunge with friends, family, co-workers or plunge alone with the rest of us!”
Registration is now open at www.sundogoe.com. Remember to print out the sponsor sheet at the bottom of the registration page ($25 minimum pledge to plunge).
All proceeds go to SunDog Outdoor Expeditions, a local nonprofit educational organization dedicated to getting middle school kids outside after-school, learning outdoor skills, while building confidence and resiliency. Each six-week session includes outdoor skills training, a community service project, and a culminating two-day expedition.
