Sweet Tree Arts to host sustainability festival

HOPE- Sweet Tree Arts will host a Sustainability festival Thursday May 16 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. to celebrate local sustainable actions, ideas and organizations. Children from the Sweetland School will have educational booths with ideas and questions about sustainability, food trucks will be selling their offerings, mini workshops and hands on activities can be found and local farms and organizations practicing sustainable actions will be sharing their passions.

The school will welcome Ibiyinka Alao  the Arts Ambassador of Nigeria who will be working with local schools over the course of the week and sharing his love of the arts and sustainability.

School groups, individuals, and learners of all ages are welcome to celebrate the many wonderful sustainable practices in our local community. 

This event is free and open to the public. It will take place at Sweet Tree Arts, 4 Church St, Hope.
