In Belfast, I’ve gone to a lot of meetings and worked on committees that focus on ways to be more sustainable both economically and environmentally. Representative Jan Dodge, who represents the towns of Belfast, Belmont, and Northport, often shows up at these events.    

She doesn’t just smile, exchange courtesies, and shake hands.  Jan comes prepared—no matter how complex or divisive the issue may be, or when there's broad disagreement.  She is an excellent listener and  clearly does her homework, asking clarifying questions and taking notes.  

Once she’s clear on an issue she’s not easily pressured by those at the State House who may not have taken the time to look as thoroughly as she has.  She is dependable.  You know where she stands, and she thanks you for your hard work.  
I urge voters to honor her hard work and reelect  Jan Dodge this November.  .
