ROCKPORT — The 2019 summer lawn concerts at the Rockport Masonic Center will run from June 19-Sept. 4. Concerts will be held every Wednesday, at 6 p.m., rain or shine. If there is rain, the concert will be held indoors at the center.
The concerts will last for one hour and are open to the public with free admission, but pass the hat donations will be accepted to pay for the bands.
The public is encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the outdoor concerts.
The Masons will be selling hamburger or hot dog plates for $9 each. A hamburger plate (one burger) or a two hot dog plate comes with chips, a side, drink and an ice cream sandwich.
There will also be a 50/50 raffle at the concerts.
The public is also welcome to bring a picnic, but alcoholic beverages are not permitted.
The Rockport Masonic Center is located at 361 Main Street in Rockport, which is just up the road from the Simonton Corner 4-way stop signs.
