Submissions open for Sixth annual Great Art for Great Reads Art Show

Spicy spiral table topper by Peggy Blackmon from 2026 show. (Photo courtesy Waldoboro Public Library)The Waldoboro Public Library’s is calling artists and crafters to submit their work for the sixth annual Great Art for Great Reads Art Show and Online Auction.
The Art Show runs from August 17 to September 11 at the Waldoboro Public Library with an opening reception on August 28.
Bidding for the Online Auction begins August 28 through September 11.
"What a great way to support the Waldoboro Library and the local art community!" said the Library in a news release.
Submission forms are due at the Library by August 1, but WPL encourages artists to get their forms in early. No late forms will be accepted this year.
"Last year we had over 80 works of art and a fantastic show," said WPL.
