    International sand art superstar Kseniya Simonova (US premiere) and Guy Mendilow Ensemble team up on an extraordinary show bringing to life Sephardi women's voices lost to war. Simonova creates, morphs and obliterates sand imagery in real-time, crafting a flowing narrative driven by the Ensemble's evocative music and radio theatre-style storytelling.     Grammy winner Ani DiFranco is known as a folksinger, though her music has embraced punk, funk, hip hop, jazz, soul, and electronica. As an iconic songwriter and social activist, she has been the inspiration for women artists and entrepreneurs for over two decades.     African music and dance from jazz musician Alphonso Horne, featuring dancers from Rockland’s Studio Red. The performance is a compilation of musical works with interpretive African dance in tribute to the life of Ghanian princess, activist, and prophetess Laura Adorka Kofi, who believed that she was sent on a mission to travel to America and deliver a message of invitation, union and self-help to people of African ancestry.     Boston-based roots trio Isa Burke, Eleanor Buckland, and Mali Obomsawin bring a sharp, provocative songcraft, anchored by their musicianship and mastery of folk music. LULA WILES infuses their songs with distinctly modern sounds: pop hooks, distorted electric guitars, and dissonant multi-layered vocals, all employed in the service of songs that reclaim folk music in their own voice.     Screening event co-presented by the Jericho Circle Project

    Set inside a single room in Folsom Prison, follow three men from outside as they participate in a four-day group therapy retreat with level-four convicts. A powerful and rare look past the cinder block walls and dehumanizing tropes in our culture to reveal a movement of change and redemption that transcends what we think of as rehabilitation. A panel discussion led by the Jericho Circle Project will follow. JCP volunteers create and facilitate men’s circles in prisons (including in Maine State Prisons) to support personal change and the discovery of deeper truth.
