ROCKLAND — The Strand Theatre presents a new edition of its radio variety show series Strand On The Air with a Holiday Special on Sunday, Dec. 25, at 5 p.m. The Holiday Special can be heard by tuning in to WRFR at 93.3 in Rockland or by streaming at WRFR.org. Following their broadcasts, these shows are made available to stream on the Strand Theatre website at RocklandStrand.com, and as podcasts.

It's Christmas Night in Abysmal Point as Mrs. Grunden and her friends gather at the Passivity Grange Hall for their annual holiday dinner – and who knows how that'll go! Liz McLeod and the Strand Family Players, Brittany Parker, and announcer Dan Bookham will all be on hand for a heaping helping of holiday fun, with musical guests Patty Jackson and Rusty Blake.
