LINCOLNVILLE — You may have seen the stained glass windows in all the local ferry terminals. And the windows and map at Camden Hills High School. Or maybe the windows at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast? How about at the Lincolnville school’s cafeteria? Or at the Camden Rockport Elementary School? Perhaps at the new state courthouse in Augusta?
They were all designed and created by Lincolnville stained glass artist, Janet Redfield in her studio, which she is opening to the public on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23 and 24, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hanging panels, small glass birds, fused glass bowls, mobiles, and stained glass windows will all be for sale.
“If you’ve always wanted to try cutting a piece of glass, Janet will teach you,” according to a news release.
The stained glass open house is also a time to discuss your ideas with this artist, who specializes in custom designs in glass for residential, public, and business installations.
