CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center will host a springtime nature walk for families on Saturday, May 1, at 10 a.m.
All ages are invited on this guided tour of Merryspring Nature Center to explore spring ecology. Guests will watch for migrating birds, look for spring ephemeral wildflowers, and inspect Merryspring’s teeming vernal pool. This walk will also introduce walkers to Merryspring’s new trail blazing system and map, which were redesigned in 2020 by Merryspring volunteers.
This program is part of the Free Family Programs series at Merryspring and is free to all ages. Space is limited, and guests must preregister by contacting Merryspring at 207-236-2239 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
All guests must wear face masks, weather-appropriate clothing and shoes, and be prepared to walk for one hour.
Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round. The park is located at the end of Conway Road, just off of Route 1 in Camden behind Hannaford Shopping Plaza.
