rest, reflect, and let go — with a little bit of ‘eerie’ thrown in

Spooky Sound Bath in Camden Amphitheatre, Oct. 30

Event has passed

CAMDEN — On Saturday, October 30, at 6 p.m., the Camden Public Library hosts musical instrument creator and sound therapist Jim Doble in the Amphitheatre for the final community sound bath of the season. This program will occur in the dark and incorporate spooky sounds.

Doble says, in a news release: “Come enjoy a special nighttime inner journey with the meditative sounds of gongs and chimes. This will be a sonic meditation, a timeless moment to rest, reflect, and let go — with a little bit of ‘eerie’ thrown in to help us get in the mood for All Hallows Eve.”

Doble will be joined by La Lefebvre.

Participants are encouraged to dress very warmly. Bring a flashlight and something comfortable to sit or lay on.

Donations accepted with a portion benefiting the Camden Public Library.

To attend, contact Jim Doble at (207) 785-2212 or email: jim@elementaldesign.me. Pre-registration is suggested so that you can be notified if there are any changes or cancelations to this program.
