Shedders band to perform in Rockland, June 12

    ROCKLAND — Tommy Hanna and his band Shedders will be performing Monday, June 12, from 8 - 11 p.m., at Myrtle Street Tavern in Rockland.

    Shedders was established by Hanna in 2022 after he graduated from the University of Maine in Augusta with a Bachelor in Music Performance. He purchased his shed from Nathan Thompson at Old Hickory Buildings in Thomaston in May of 2022; hence the name.

    Shedders performed at the 2022 Linaca Music Festival and has been requested to return for a 2023 performance. Shedders also performed at the 2022 Bigelow Blues and Brews in Carrabassett Valley and at the 2022 Sunday River Fall Festival. Shedders Live at Sunday River performance can be found on YouTube.     Shedders Band members include Tommy Hanna on guitar, Avery Hodous on guitar, Chuck Benton on the keyboards, Michael Sevon on the drums, and Ben Coombs on the bass guitar. Hanna is also the lead guitarist for The Watts Hall Band in Thomaston. Hodous was a Music Performance major at the University of Maine in Augusta with Hanna. Chuck Benton and Michael Sevon also perform with The Gulch. Ben Coombs can also be found playing with his trio. Shedders can also be found playing the twin villages open mic nights and practicing at their shed in Bristol.  

    Hear the music of Jimi Hendrix, The Allman Brothers Band, Neil Young, and other classic rock and blues tunes as well as original songs come to life.
