ROCKLAND — Senegalese kora player Ablaye Cissoko and French traditional accordion musician Cyrille Brotto will appear together on the Strand Theatre stage on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m.

“Known for his many unique collaborations in different music genres, Cissoko surprises us again by pairing this time with a diatonic accordion player,” said the Strand, in a news release. “Brotto, a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator, is a well-known figure of the French traditional and folk music scene. The duo takes us on a spiritual and intimate musical journey with their remarkably warm and graceful music.”
