BROOKS — Sen. Erin Herbig, D-Belfast, will hold public office hours, Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 10:30 a.m. to noon, at Marsh River Cooperative in Brooks. The event marks the beginning of a series of office hours and visits to businesses across Waldo County.
“One of the best parts of my job is getting to meet people and visit businesses throughout Waldo County,” said Senator Herbig, in a news release. “I’m always inspired by the incredible work of entrepreneurs, local officials and residents who strengthen our communities every single day.”
Public office hours provide local residents a chance to meet with Senator Herbig, ask questions and get help with legislative or state government matters. Herbig also will be available to provide updates on her work on different committees and commissions and discuss her work in the Legislature more broadly.
All are welcome to attend and ask questions.
This fall, Senator Herbig is extending the Waldo County Works business tour she conducted last year. If you would like a visit or more information on upcoming visits and office hours, contact Herbig at (207) 287-1515 or Erin.Herbig@legislature.maine.gov.
In the Maine Senate, Senator Herbig represents all 26 towns of Waldo County. She serves as chair of the Innovation, Development, Economic Advancement and Business Committee, and also serves on the Veterans and Legal Affairs Committee.
Prior to being elected to the Maine Senate, Senator Herbig served as Majority Leader in the Maine House.
