Senate District 12 candidates David Miramant, Gordon Page to answer questions important to women and girls

    Join Midcoast Women for the second of its three-part online series, Moving the Needle, featuring Senate District 12 candidates David Miramant and Gordon Page, Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Members of Midcoast communities will pose to candidates questions of importance, especially for women and girls to the candidates.

    The  topics include public school education, domestic violence, discriminitory taxes, small business economy, and the needs for seniors. 

    Senate District 12 includes the Knox County towns Appleton, Camden, Criehaven Twp., Cushing, Friendship, Hope, Isle au Haut, Matinicus Isle Plantation, Muscle Ridge Islands Township, North Haven, Owl’s Head, Rockland, Rockport, South Thomaston, St. George, Thomaston, Union, Vinalhaven, and Warren. 
     
    Midcoast Women provides opportunities for area women of all ages to find and strengthen our individual and shared voices will co-host this program the League of Women Voters, Midcoast chapter.
     
    The final Moving the Needle program will be "Domestic Violence: Law and Legislation" on October 13.
