CAMDEN — Merryspring Nature Center and the Maine Daylily Society will host a second Daylily Day on Saturday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Maine Daylily Society will showcase its display garden at Merryspring during this event free event for beginner and seasoned daylily gardeners. The varied colors and blooms delight in luscious lemon, ruffled raspberry, deep grape, and diamond-dusted pastels, petals dancing and prancing in summer joy. There are talls and smalls, formal and exotic.
Guests may bring a shovel to dig their own daylilies from divisions in the nursery bed.
