Second Annual ‘What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor?’ opens Feb. 10
The Boothbay Harbor Region Chamber of Commerce and Studio 53 Fine Art Gallery are pleased to host the Second Annual “What’s Nude in Boothbay Harbor? A Celebration of the Human Form” at Studio 53 Fine Arts Gallery, 53 Townsend Ave., Boothbay Harbor.
The show will open Saturday, Feb. 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with an Opening Reception to follow from 5:30-7:30 p.m.; on Sunday, Feb. 11 see the show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. An Artist Pot Luck and Pick Up Party will be held Saturday, Feb. 17 from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend and encouraged to bring a dish for the potluck and party.
Over 40 artists from the state of Maine and New York will exhibit their artistic interpretations of the beauty and shape of the human form. The show will consist of a wide range of approaches representing the human body through realism, surrealism, impressionism, and abstraction. Attendees are invited and encouraged to vote for their favorite piece through the “People’s Choice Award.”

After the show, head over to the Thistle Inn or the Carriage House in East Boothbay where both restaurants will be serving up some very creative cocktails to help celebrate “What’s Nude?”
