Seaweed Symposium gets underway in Down East Maine June 20-21

Greenhorns, a farmers’ community whose mission is to promote and support agriculture, is holding a Seaweed Symposium, June 20-21, in Pembroke and invites those interested to learn more about the ecology and governance of Maine’s intertidal resources. 

The event includes seminars, field trips to the shore, boat trip in Cobscook Bay, farm-grown lunches, and an optional harvesting trip on June 19.
