ST. GEORGE — The upcoming Open House on Sunday, July 16, at the historic Andrew Robinson Homestead, 945 River Road in St. George, will highlight the seafaring lives of the captains who resided at the Homestead.

Come learn about what life was like on the high seas in the 1800s for the Robinson captains while listening to the singing of sea shanties by the Maine duo Castlebay. The music will be live from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Three generations of Robinsons went to sea, sailing to destinations as far as Indonesia.

The Homestead and barn will be open for touring from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Entrance is free but donations are accepted.

The Andrew Robinson Homestead is owned by the St. George Historical Society and maintained by volunteers.
