A gathering in memory of the late Sam Manning, marine illustrator and seaman, will be held Sunday, September 15, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at the Public Landing, Camden, Maine 04843.

This public potluck gathering will be held rain or shine.

The Rev. Dr. Susan Stonestreet will officiate, and guests are invited to bring written reminiscences and photos for inclusion in a memorial book.

The family extends thanks to all in the community for their support over the last few months.
