‘Run For Your Life’ in September

STOCKTON SPRINGS — Race enthusiasts will be running for their lives in Stockton Springs this fall. 

The fifth annual “Run For Your Life” 5K and 12K races will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. starting at the Town Office and going along Cape Jellison. 

The course will feature beautiful views of the water, according to an event notice on the town’s website. 

In addition the 5K and 12K races, a one mile fun run will be held at 8 a.m. 

Registration for all three events will begin at 7:30 a.m. 

5K and 12K Registration Fees
$20 per person if registered/postmarked by Sept. 3
$25 per person if registering after Sept. 3
$50 per family of four or more

1 Mile Fun Run Registration Fees
$8 per person if registered/postmarked by Sept. 3
$10 per person if registering after Sept. 3
$20 per family of four or more

Commemorative t-shirts will be available to the first 30 registrants of the 5K and 12K races and for the first 10 registrants of the one mile fun run. 

All proceeds will benefit the Stockton Springs ambulance service — namely, the service’s equipment fund. 

Awards will be presented to the top male and female finishes for the 5K and 12K races in six divisions: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.
