Ronald Frontin Solo Show at Gallery Two in Rockland

Event has passed

Gallery Two, 399 Main St in Rockland, is presenting a limited engagement of Private Moments, a solo show of new paintings by Rockland artist Ronald Frontin.

The show marks the first time in 30 years Frontin’s work will be exhibited on Main Street.

Thirty years ago, Frontin catalyzed Rockland’s up-and-coming gallery scene with a stunning sold-out show that garnered the attention of New York galleries and art collectors.

Frontin is known for his atmospheric landscapes and portraits of locals and luminaries alike; one such painting is that of Margaret Chase Smith, commissioned and owned by the United States Senate.

The show opens on Friday August 5, coinciding with Artwalk. Gallery Two is open most days and by appointment at 207-832-1111.
