ROCKPORT — The Rockport Select Board will convene at 5 p.m. this evening, Oct. 29, for an emergency meeting, in the Geoffrey C. Parker Community Meeting Room, Rockport Opera House. The agenda specifies a closed door meeting for a discussion, “with town counsel pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. Section 405(6)(E) to discuss legal rights and duties of the board.”

The executive session precedes the board’s annual Freedom of Information Act (federal) and Freedom of Access Act (state) training at 6 p.m.
