Rockport is seeking volunteers to serve on the recently formed RES Redevelopment Committee. This committee, which is the official outgrowth of an informal group that has been meeting for a year to talk about the future of the former Rockport Elementary School site on West Street, is to produce plans for the 7.5 acre parcel.

The committee is to comprise:

Town Manager Bill Post, ex officio

Finance Director Megan Brackett, ex officio

Rockport Planner Bill Najpauer, ex officio

Two select board members: 

Parks and Beautification Committee Member

Recreation Committee Member

Three citizens with finance/banking, real estate and/or economic development background

One neighborhood member
