ROCKPORT — The Rockport Public Library will be hosting a 5K run/walk race event Saturday, June 25. 

The race starts in beautiful Rockport Village right in front of the library and travels along the coast offering fantastic ocean views. Water and snacks will be provided after the race at the library.

This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages and skills. Strollers are allowed, but organizers ask to be mindful of traffic as most of the race does not have a sidewalk.

Race day registration starts at 8 a.m. at the Rockport Public Library and the race starts at 9 a.m. Please arrive by 8:30 a.m. for enough time to get a bib number and get to the start line.

The 5K race is open to all and early registration costs $20. Race day registration is $25. Kids 18 and under can register for $10.

You can sign up in advance at the library or online. Advance registration ends Friday, June 24.
