Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrants, OUI, improper passing

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity March 28-April 7. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    March 28

    Jacob A. Snow, 60, of Spruce Head, was issued a summons by Officer Chris Taylor for insurance violation.

    March 29

    Howard S. Gold, 57, of Cohasset, Mass., was issued a summons by Taylor for improper passing.

    March 31

    James P. Quigley, 44, of Appleton, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for failure to register vehicle 30-150 days.

    April 3

    Scott E. Weed, 37, of Rockland, was charged by Ford with operating under the influence (drugs).

    April 4

    Rebecca McCrohan, 35, of Appleton, was issued a summons by Officer Tony Del Vecchio for speeding 51 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    April 7

    Marissa K. Libby, 21, of St. George, was issued a summons by Taylor for operating after suspension and insurance violation.

    Lucia Dacosta, 44, of New Bedford, Mass., was charged by Taylor for operating after suspension and arrested on three warrants.

    Sean Peacock, 34, of Fairhaven, Mass., was issued a summons by Taylor for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle.
