Rockport Police beat: Arrest warrant, speeding, inspection violations

    ROCKPORT — Rockport police reported the following activity June 24-July 11. An arrest or summons does not imply guilt. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.

    June 24

    Dorothy McDonald, 24, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Jacob Powers for speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    Garrett S. Bates, 27, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Officer Travis Ford for inspection violation.

    June 25

    Jacob A. Corney, 22, of Camden, was issued a summons by Ford for speeding 49 mph in a 30 mph zone.

    June 26

    Bradley A. Gunnell, 38, of Rockland, was issued a summons by Powers for speeding 45 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    June 29

    Nicholas T. Bennett, 34, of Union, was arrested by Officer Chris Taylor on a warrant.

    June 30

    Robert W. Lowberg, 60, of Warren, was issued a summons by Taylor for failure to stop at a stop sign.

    July 1

    Valerie Corbett, 49, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.

    Juvenile, of Warren, was issued a summons by Powers for speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    Thomas F. McKeon, 61, of Searsport, was issued a summons by Taylor for insurance violation.

    July 3

    Kathleen M. Adkins, 55, of Nobleboro, was issued a summons by Officer Tony Del Vecchio for speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    Rolle H. Smith, 47, of Waldoboro, was issued a summons by Del Vecchio for speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

    July 5

    Daniel Hart, 27, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Sgt. Jim Moore for operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

    July 8

    Cody M. Hooper, 25, of St. George, was issued a summons by Ford for insurance violation.

    July 11

    Maine Stone Landscaping, of Rockport, was issued a summons by Ford for inspection violation.
