CAMDEN — The Rockport Public Library welcomes back Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers for a rollicking performance of their show “Everyone Loves Pirates!” on Friday, May 19, at 5:30 p.m. The show will take place in the theatre at the Camden-Rockport Middle School. The performance is free and open to the public, but space is limited.

In the puppet show, eight-year-old Lucy and her goofy pal Little Chucky are searching for buried treasure. However, a gang of bumbling pirates keeps getting in the way. The kids get help from some new ocean-dwelling friends, including an enthusiastic superhero named Lobster Boy, his reluctant sidekick Crabby, and an overgrown sea monkey.

Frogtown Mountain Puppeteers is an award-winning troupe based in Bar Harbor. The family-owned company is comprised of brothers Erik and Brian Torbeck and sister Robin (Torbeck) Erlandsen.

This event is sponsored by the Rockport Library Foundation and the Camden-Rockport Middle School. For more information, please contact the Rockport Public Library.

Please call the Rockport Library at 207-236-3642 to reserve seats.
