Event has passed

ROCKPORT — Rockport Garden Club welcomes passionate gardener and teacher Wendy Reinemann for the club’s first meeting on April 6. Reinemann will be presenting ideas on how to bring a bit of spring inside by creating container arrangements. Reinemann offers a wide variety of classes on the all aspects of gardening from planting to arranging.

“Gardeners will not want to miss an opportunity to hear her speak,” said Rockport Garden Club, in a news release.

Reinemann and her husband, Bruce, own Guini Ridge Farm, a nursery that has been serving the mid-coast community with  fresh vegetables, flowers, herb, plants and meat since 2001. Guini Ridge Farm offers a diverse range of locally grown high quality annuals and perennials, vegetable plants, herb plants, shrubs, trees, roses, cut flower varieties, and ornamental grasses for your garden and landscape.

The meeting begins at 1 p.m., and is open to the public.

Rockport Garden Club meets at the West Rockport Baptist Church.

All are welcome.
