ROCKLAND — Rockland Police Department is inviting the community to its first annual open house, Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
The event is being held with dual purposes in mind. First, the PD welcomes their neighbors to meet the officers and to ask about their equipment.
“We love showing kids our cruisers,” said Alex Gaylor.
Along with tours of the cruisers, a couple other activities will be on hand for the children.
The other purpose of the open house is to answer questions from prospective applicants who may want to know more about the process of becoming an officer.
