ROCKLAND — Join Rockland Public Library and host poet Mihku Paul for a free community poetry reading exploring themes of inclusion and equity, Thursday, Aug. 12, at 6:30 p.m., on the Rockland Public Library lawn.

What makes a welcoming and inclusive community? What are the identities that make up Rockland? How do we tie together Rockland’s past, present, and future?

This event will be held in person, outside the Rockland Public Library. Contact the library for further details.

Poetry Express is a collaborative poetry performance program of the Maine Humanities Council and the Maine State Library that brings poetry and poets to Maine communities.
