BELFAST — Two members of the Tall Pines Retirement and Healthcare Community in Belfast have tested positive for COVID-19, according to a notice shared April 7 by the facility on its Facebook page.

One of the individuals is a staff member and another individual is a resident of the facility, the notice said.

“We are now working closely with the CDC to ensure that we take every possible precaution to keep our residents and staff safe,” the facility said, in the notice. “We have begun testing of higher risk residents as well as placing staff members who have been at a higher risk of exposure on temporary leave.”

The facility promised additional updates as the situation evolves and plans to take additional precautions.
