THOMASTON — Due to the potential impact of Hurricane Lee, the Thomaston Dog Park Association is moving its annual yard sale from Saturday, September 16 to Saturday, September 23, with a rain date of Sunday, September 24. Location is behind the Thomaston Academy Building, corner of Gleason and Roxbury Streets. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., no early birds please.

Donated items will be accepted from Wednesday to Friday, September 20 - 22, from 12 to 3 p.m., or by appointment at the Gleason Street entrance at the rear of the Thomaston Academy building. Schedule drop-off by emailing thomastondogparkmaine@gmail.com. Everything accepted except shoes and clothing items.

The yard sale is the major fund raiser for the Dog Park, providing the funds to operate and maintain the Dog Park. The public is encouraged to participate, to donate, and to attend the sale on September 23.
