THOMASTON — The Williams-Brazier Post 37’s Social Activities Committee is hosting a Red Friday of 2022 for members, veterans and the local community, on Friday, June 3.
Red Friday is an American Legion Family Program established to remember all that are currently deployed as members of the Armed Forces of the United States Red Friday allows Post 37 Legionnaires, and those in the local community, to have an outlet to meet with each other.
All are invited to come sit in a safe area, drink coffee, eat doughnuts and talk about someone they may know that is serving in the American military, and deployed. Red Friday will be open on the first and third Friday of each month, from May to October.
All other months will have a Red Friday on the third Friday of the month. Beginning at 10 a.m., anyone interested in sharing a story, or just to visit with Post 37, is welcome to visit at the Post.
Coffee and doughnuts will be served free of charge.
All current Covid-19 protocols will be in place. It is recommended to wear a mask while inside the hall.
“Come to Post 37,” said the Committee. “You will be welcomed with open arms.”
