Red Friday coffee and doughnuts at Williams-Brazier Post 37

THOMASTON — The next Red Friday Coffee and Doughnuts Open House will be held on August 20.

“Post 37 wishes to invite you to be our guest on this day,” said Williams-Brazier, in a news releases. 

Red Friday is an American Legion Family Program established to remember all that are currently deployed as members of the Armed Forces of the United States.

Red Friday allows Post 37 Legionnaires, and invited guests, to have an outlet to meet with each other. All are invited to come sit in a safe area, drink coffee, eat doughnuts and talk about someone they may know that is serving in the American military, and deployed.

Red Friday will be open on the first and third Friday of each month. Beginning at 10 a.m., anyone interested in sharing a story, or just to visit with Post 37, is welcome to visit at the Post.

Coffee and doughnuts will be served free of charge.

All Covid-19 protocols will be in place. Tables will be socially distanced.

“Come to Post 37,” said Williams-Brazier. “You will be welcomed with open arms.”
