Maine Chefs' gourmet jams, salsa and sauces will offer some delicious samples as you browse the the first and second floors of the barn, which features some truly inventive and uniquely Maine artists and authors among a vast array of antiques, furniture, collectables and jewelry, small house wares and more.

Authors Barbara Lawrence (Ben's Story, Islands of Time) and K. Stephens (The Ghost Trap) are among Red Barn Baking Co.'s literary vendors and will be on hand to answer questions about the subculture of Maine's fishing communities and sign copies of their novels.

Other fine artists, such as photographer Lorain K. Francis, will have the stories behind her ethereal shots of hidden Maine, along with portrait artist, Abe Goodale, with his fine watercolor paintings and postcards of Maine lobstermen.

The Makers who work with their hands will also talk about their process such as Kris Brown, who creates colorful woven cotton bowls; Patti Young, who creates handmade Common Scents soap from goat milk; and crafters Lyndsay Tufo and Jeannie Delamarco, who make terra cotta pots with lobsters and flower decorations.
