Ragtime comes to Midcoast with pianist Ethan Uslan

Pianist Ethan Uslan will perform ragtime, stride and early jazz piano Sunday, August 20, at 2 p.m., at the Thomaston Baptist Church, 212 Main Street, in Thomaston.
Featured in the documentary The Entertainers, and recently performing as Lestat de Lioncourt's hand-double on AMC series Interview With the Vampire, Uslan has performed throughout the USA and Europe, and on shows, such as Prairie Home Companion.
Hailed by the Chicago Tribune for his "vivid musical imagination", Uslan’s performances will benefit the nonprofit Glenn Jenks Ragtime Revue and Future in Music scholarship offered through the Bay Chamber "Young Stars of Maine" Prize Program" and open to mixed-genre instrumental, vocal or composition students, age 12-25, who wish to further their studies in the field of music.
General Admission at the door: $20 Adults / $10 Students.
