Project Owlnet virtual presentation with David F. Brinker

Event has passed

On Wednesday, November 17, at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom, join David F. Brinker to learn about Project Owlnet and its work banding saw-whet owls. Created in 1994, Project Owlnet focuses on netting migrant owls, especially saw-whet owls. In 2015 a Project Owlnet station was opened at Petit Manan Point.

Come hear the story of the growth of Project Owlnet from a small group of unorganized, loosely communicating banders to an electronically-connected, continent-wide network. Each year, Project Owlnet affiliates band thousands of Northern Saw-whet owls, helping provide a wealth of insight into their natural history and ecology.
