BELFAST — The First Church in Belfast will be holding a vigil to raise up Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Wednesday evening, Sept. 23, at 6 p.m., on the lawn of the Church, 104 Church Street.
“Her loss has left many with great sadness as Justice Ginsberg was a valiant force for justice, equality, and women’s rights in our country,” said the Church, in a news release.
Participants will gather around the fire pit; attendees are welcome to bring a lawn chair.
If you have a reading or poem you would like to share, or a story to tell, please bring it along, according to the Church. All are welcome.
“We will wear masks and be careful about social distancing,” said the Church.
