Pinny Beebe-Center has earned my vote

Fri, 09/30/2022 - 8:15pm

When I cast my vote for local, state or national candidates, I do so with the expectation that the person getting my support will be committed to making decisions based on doing what’s best for the greatest good, not what his or her political party says they need to do. I sincerely believe that Pinny Beebe-Center is committed to protecting, defending and supporting “the greatest good” and will do so if elected State Senator for District 12 (Knox County).

In her three terms as a state representative, Pinny used the skills she has honed over many years of public service to bring together diverse interests to craft solutions for many of the problems facing Maine communities, both locally and across the state. Her efforts in areas such as mental health and child abuse and neglect garnered bipartisan involvement and eventually bipartisan support in votes to pass legislation in these and other areas.

Pinny Beebe-Center has continued to work among all our local communities on issues that benefit the greatest good. Not every idea put forward  is going to be a winner or THE solution but Pinny knows how to build consensus to possible solutions out of the many ideas that are generated by bringing together diverse groups. She truly listens when citizens speak with her.

Pinny’s experience, her involvement in, and understanding of, the issues that face the people of Knox County make her the best choice for our State Senator. I have worked with her on local issues such as homelessness and our public education system and can vouch for her honesty and integrity. In my view, Pinny Beebe-Center has earned the support she deserves to be elected State Senator for District 12.
