CAMDEN — The Friends of Music Concert Series, an outreach program of The First Congregational Church of Camden, presents pianist Shelly Moorman-Stahlman in concert, Sunday, October 20, at 4 p.m., in the church sanctuary.

Pianist Shelly Moorman-Stahlman will return to Camden to perform major works of the classical piano repertoire, including the music of Scarlatti, Beethoven, Liszt, and Prokofiev.

Dr. Moorman-Stahlman is a professor of music at Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pennsylvania, where she teaches organ, piano, class piano, and church music courses. She has performed as a featured artist at major venues in Washington, D.C., New York City, the Midwest, and Brazil.

Locally, she performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Maine Pro Musica Orchestra at the Rockport Opera House in March 2017.

As always, each Friends of Music concert is free and open to the public. Donations to sustain the program will be accepted at the door.
