FRIENDSHIP — Photographer Amy Durocher will exhibit her works October 8 – 14, 2020, at Salt Pond Studio, Friendship. An opening event will be held Saturday, Oct. 10, from 4 - 8 p.m. Covid-19 compliance, outdoor barbeque and fire pit.
“Meditative digital photographs shot in Maine and printed on both aluminum and paper achieve a sense of child-like wonder by isolating the secret beauty found in unexpected places,” said Salt Pond Studio, in a news release. “Living in Winthrop, [this] artist gives us the much needed opportunity to step away from the ‘noise’ that bombards our lives.”
Prints will be made available at the gallery in various sizes and price ranges.
Durocher is a graduate of Parsons School of Design and New York University.
Gallery hours are Wednesday – Sunday, 12 -5 p.m., or by appointment.
