BELFAST — The Penobscot Bay Singers present “The Sun, the Moon and the Stars,” a compilation of songs with celestial references.
Gather for an evening of familiar songs from the 1930s to the present. Rock with “Let the Sunshine In” or sway to Moonlight Serenade.
There will be cafe seating and refreshments provided, courtesy of the singers.
The two evening performances will be held on Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, at 7:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, 23 Mill Lane, Belfast.
Admission is $15, at the door, accompanied children free.
The Penobscot Bay Singers, originally the Robert Coller Coastal Chorale, has been entertaining audiences in and around Waldo County since 1973. The singers are an eclectic group, with varying backgrounds, according to Singers, in a news release. The common factor is love of choral music.
The Penobscot Bay Singers is a 501 (c)(3) organization.
