PAWS Cares program receives donation for animals like Hope

CAMDEN — First National Bank recently donated $5,000 to the PAWS Animal Adoption Center towards their PAWS Cares program.

PAWS Animal Adoption Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing care for homeless dogs and cats until they can be placed in permanent, responsible homes. PAWS Cares Community Clinics are an outreach approach to meeting the needs of the community by providing affordable veterinary care and preventative vaccinations to low-income pet owners in Knox and Waldo Counties.

PAWS is currently accepting adoption applications for Hope, a two-year-old loveable beagle, as well as for other dogs and cats looking for forever homes. For more information, visit PAWS online at www.pawsadoption.org.
