PAWS Animal Adoption Center honors Eastern Tire and Janet Morecraft

During PAWS Animal Adoption Center’s Annual Summer Soiree held on July 10 at CellarDoor Winery in Lincolnville, Eastern Tire & Auto Services and Janet Morecraft were honored for their unwavering commitment and support to the organization.
Members of the Eastern Tire team were present to accept a handcrafted award created by glass artist Robin McIntosh featuring multi-colored glass ribbons woven to represent the fibers of our community and the interwoven thread of the honorees’ commitment to bettering the lives of the animals and individuals served by PAWS Animals Adoption Center and the PAWS Cares Community Clinic.
Although Ms. Morecraft was unable to attend, she provided a heartfelt video address for the audience expressing her appreciation and commitment to the causes PAWS serves.
During the event, which featured jazz music and a lively auction as well as the premier of a video highlighting the work at PAWS produced by Josh Gerritsen Media, the winner of a Golden Ticket Raffle was drawn, and funds were raised in support of the organization.
The PAWS Board of Directors and Summer Soiree committee would like to thank all that attended the event and donated in support of the organization which has served countless animals in the Midcoast for more than 50 years.
