CAMDEN — Members of the Camden-based Parkinson’s Support Group will alter their usual meeting format when they hold their final gathering of the calendar year on Tuesday, Dec. 3, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill.
In lieu of a speaker, the get-together will begin with a holiday celebration; afterward, participants will divide into smaller groups for discussion and sharing of perspectives.
All those living with Parkinson’s, as well as their families and caregivers, are invited to attend the party and ti stay for the ensuing discussion. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to bring their favorite
holiday treats to share at the party.
The Camden Parkinson’s group meets regularly at Quarry Hill on the first Tuesday of each month during the noon-to-2 p.m. time slot. Most meetings include an educational presentation followed by small-group discussions and are open, free of charge, to anyone living with Parkinson’s and those involved in their care.
Attendees are welcome to bring bag lunches; Quarry Hill provides beverages and desserts.
The event is free.
