Parkinson’s group to explore “The Energy of Healing”
CAMDEN — The Camden-based Parkinson’s Support Group invites those living with Parkinson’s, their family members and caregivers to attend a presentation on “The Energy of Healing” scheduled for the group’s next meeting, on Tuesday, March 5, from noon to 2 p.m., at the Anderson Inn at Quarry Hill in Camden.
Herbalist and Brennan Healing Science Practitioner Kristin Jacobson, RN, will offer easy exercises and “energetic tools designed to help ground the physical body, soothe the nervous system and open to more life force energy through breathing with intention,” according to a news release.
The Camden Parkinson’s Support Group meets regularly at Quarry Hill on the first Tuesday of each month during the noon-to-2 p.m. time slot, and participation is free of charge.
Attendees are encouraged to bring bag lunches; Quarry Hill provides beverages and dessert.
During the winter months, support group meetings are cancelled whenever Camden public schools are closed due to inclement weather.
